Gardens' Café The Gardens' Café at Royal Botanical Gardens is an award winning  full service restaurant, open year-round. Open for luncheon daily: 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Open for dinner: Thursday and Friday nights only from 5:00 p.m. For reservations call: (905) 529-2920 or e-mail: cafe@rbg.ca Our menus change as the seasons yield new produce. Emphasis is placed upon the best in-season local produce and products. Absolutely nothing artificial is used; no mixes, no fillers, no frozen, or pre-prepared foods. Everything is made fresh, including pastries. And...we make all our own breads! The Gardens' Café is decorated in soft greens, mauves and pinks, and creates a refreshing garden atmosphere. Large windows overlooking Spicer Court bring in natural light and reveal a vista of stunning gardens, flowering trees, and lush shrubs. Our sculpted water fountain, "Venus on the Half Shell" complements the relaxed ambience. Throughout the RBG's regular operating season, our establishment is filled to capacity almost every day, catering to the many visitors who delight in exploring Canada's largest botanical gardens. During the Fall and Winter months, the Gardens' Café itself is an "off-season" attraction for visitors, and also welcomes those who come to enjoy the radiance of the RBG's Mediterranean Garden featuring the unique plants of Southern California, South Western Australia, Central Chile, South Africa, and the Mediterranean Basin. Patrons of the Gardens' Café praise the outstanding fare we offer, and appreciate the superb service they receive each time they visit us.
